JASON COWLEY established himself as the division’s top scorer with two goals for Halesowen Town in a thriller at The Grove.
But then the Yeltz forward was sent off in a controversial finish to a 2-2 draw with promotion-chasing Spalding United.
The Lincolnshire side looked to have won it with four minutes left when Jack Roberts put Spalding 2-1 up.
But Cowley – who had already scored after 79 minutes – netted from the penalty spot six minutes into stoppage time to make it 11 for the season so far.

Cowley was then dismissed and misses Tuesday’s clash with Alvechurch.
It was a result which keeps Halesowen three points outside the play-off spot.
Yeltz boss Russ Penn told the club’s X account: “It was a proper game.
“But it’d have been a travesty if we hadn’t come away with at least a point.
“It was the opposite of our performances at Bury Town last week.
“The sending-offs, at the end, from the referee were silly, he didn’t need to do it. It spoiled a really good game for us.
“I told Jason when we signed him in the summer that he’s the best striker in the league and he’s proven that at the moment.”
There was a six-goal thriller at Stourbridge who drew 3-3 with Bromsgrove Sporting – which saw a player from each side sent off.
Stourbridge’s Aksum White and Rouslers’ Aaron Roberts were both shown red cards by referee Alex Rolfe.
Luke Benbow and Jordan Lyden put Bromsgrove ahead with goals either side of half-time.
But Jai Verma and Jenson Sumnall brought the scores level with 20 minutes left.
Kobe Hall then put Rouslers ahead with 15 minutes to go from the penalty spot.
The Glassboys rescued a vital point with Luke Rowe’s goal after 81 minutes in front of a crowd of just under 950.
Stourbridge boss Darryl Knights told the club’s YouTube channel: “It was disappointing to be two down at half-time, but a few weeks ago we might’ve lost that three or four nil.
“We’ve brought in new characters and we deserve the points. It was mixed emotions.
“I think the new faces can get us out of the situation we’re in at the moment.”
Rouslers manager Scott Adey-Linforth told Bromsgrove’s YouTube channel: “It was a crazy game.
“We had to stay calm and stick to the plan. Credit to Stourbridge for taking the point.
“But was I happy with the second half performance? No. The game plan went out of the window in the second half. On the balance of things, it was a decent point for us.”
Redditch United stay in the play-off places after another dramatic game.
Mike Fowler’s side clinched a stoppage-time victory over Bury Town when Luke Ward sealed a 3-2 win after taking an early 2-0 lead.
Liam Loughlan and Alex Cameron put Redditch ahead but George Quantrell
and Jamie McGrath brought the Suffolk side level.
Redditch are now third in the table and Fowler said the squad had been hit by illness and injury.
He told the club’s YouTube channel: “We’ve been patching things up for weeks, but last Thursday, there was maybe over 50 per cent of the squad who couldn’t train.
“But in the end, no-one cares. We said before the game there can be no excuses.
“We can’t say ‘if we don’t win it’s because of this’. But we beat a very good team with perhaps seven Under19s on the pitch.”
Worcester City won 2-0 at Barwell as second-half goals from Liam Lockett and Shay Palmer put them eighth in the table.
But Stratford Town lost 1-0 in North Hertfordshire at Royston Town.
