KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Adam Murray said there would be ‘consquences’ for letting victory slip away in stoppage time on Saturday.
Harriers were 2-1 up against Buxton at Aggborough thanks to goals from Amari Morgan-Smith and Kurt Willoughby.
But the Derbyshire side levelled after 96 minutes when Max Bardell found the net in front of 3,000 fans.
It left Murray fuming at another giveaway from Harriers, who sit sixth in National League North, seven points off top spot.
Murray told the club’s official YouTube channel: “I’m limited for words, there are all kinds of emotions going on at the moment. I’m quite happy now that we’ve got two weeks off, because there has to be consequences for some things.
“Some things that I just can’t accept and whether that’s game management, mentality or both.
“The last three homes games, this has happened.
“I’m not going to say anything in front of the camera that I’m not said in the dressing room. It can’t happen. We can’t see a game out.
“You’re asking people to do their jobs. So if you don’t, you get punished, and that’s a frustrating thing for me, because there’s nothing in the game that we haven’t worked on.
“We’re making ridiculous fowls where there’s no need to. There is no excuse.
“I am the first one who will always look at myself and I’ll always see where I can get better and what I can change. But there are some things you just can’t coach and people have to step up to the plate
“You can’t go from three games in positions to win, great points, then drawing and losing points in the last minute. It’s. You can’t imagine how my insides feel.
“I know where we should be in the league. I know I know the points we should have – and that’s got to be fixed.
“You can spend hours on the grass, but if the mentality isn’t right, you get repeat of those last minute goals when you should be winning games. It hurts desperately.”
