MATT Taylor again pointed to the treatment table after Solihull Moors went down at Barnet.
The Moors’ chief highlighted the problem over injured absentees following last weekend’s home defeat by Oldham Athletic.
And he again talked about how losing ‘big’ players to injury was having a detrimental effect.
Dom Telford gave the Bees the lead with a clean strike into the roof of the net in the 28th minute.
However, Fletcher Holman produced a cracker just 20 seconds after the re-start to level, firing into the top corner.
But the Moors were incensed when a quickly-taken free-kick on the halfway line – which they believed was taken from the wrong position – allowed Lee Ndlovu to find the net.
And a second for Ndlovu in the dying seconds rounded off a 3-1 win.
Taylor said: “In terms of the players here, their application was very good.
“I know we have given away too many goals from individual errors. That’s hurting us.
“Also, if you look at the squad, one of the big things that’s hurting us is if you look at how many senior players aren’t here today because they are injured.
“That’s something we have to change.
“When you stand and do this job you need your best players available. Ultimately, they haven’t been. We pick up too many injuries and it’s hurting us.
“I don’t think it’s new, necessarily this season. It’s something that’s happened. There are too many injuries at the football club.
“And big players. I’m not talking about players who wouldn’t be in the team every week.
“That’s disappointing. I was pleased with the players’ effort.
“We are in a tough spot. I need to see players’ recover. I need to see them return in a positive frame of mind.
“Football is unforgiving. We need to put it right on Wednesday. I’d like to have one or two available.
“They’re aware of it. I’m not suggesting it’s their fault. We need to get them back on the pitch.”
Taylor was without Jack Stevens, Conor Wilkinson, Matty Warburton and skipper Jamey Osborne for the trip to north London.
He was, however, pleased otherwise with the effort. Although he clearly felt there was an issue with Barnet’s second goal.
“The second goal is outrageous,” he said, “ I don’t understand the ruling. The free-kick should be taken from the same position from which it’s been given.
“I’m disappointed. Barnet are one of the best teams in the league. They are at that level because they can make four or five changes to the team and it doesn’t affect the way they play.
“With respect to our players, we weren’t able to do that.
“That’s the reality of where we are right now. But if we play like that, we will pick up points.”
