SOLIHULL Moors have signed free-scoring Tamworth striker Dan Creaney.
The player helped the Lambs win promotion back into the National League last year – and the 30-year-old scored 19 goals last season, with seven assists.
Originally signed for Tamworth in 2019 from Coalville Town, Creaney hit 40 plus goals during their 2022/23 title winning season.
Moors Head Coach, Matt Taylor, told the club’s official website: “Dan has a proven scoring record at this level”
“He also works hard and links things up, and he still has that hunger to do well.
“We are so pleased that he sees his future here and we look forward to working with him when the players report back this week.

“I’m sure the fans are looking forward just as much as we are to seeing him in a Moors shirt.”
Tamworth – still with a part-time squad – confirmed earlier in the day that they had made him as big an offer as they could have to stay.
But they could not match Solihull’s terms.
Creaney added: “I’ve loved my time at Tamworth and want to thank everyone there, but this is such an exciting challenge.
“I spoke to the gaffer here, and with Stephen Ward and they are so passionate about what Solihull Moors can achieve – and I want to be part of that.
“There are so many good things happening around the club and I can’t wait to start an exciting new chapter here.”
