JACK Stevens has left Solihull Moors to join newly-promoted EFL side Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The winger has moved to Boundary Park after Oldham won the National League play-off final against Southend United in May.
Stevens, 24, has signed a two-yeart deal with the Latics.
Moors chairman, Darryl Eales told the club’s official website: “I’ve known Jack since he was a youngster on the fast track when I owned Oxford United. His talent was always evident.
“I was delighted when we managed to sign him from Banbury as I knew Jack should be playing at a much higher level.
“He’s been a top performer at Moors, scoring memorable goals and generally being a credit to the club
“I’m truly delighted that Jack now has his opportunity in the EFL and wish him every success in the future.”
A club statement added: We would like to thank Jack for his commitment and contributions during his time at the club. He leaves with the best wishes of everyone at Solihull Moors for a successful future, both on and off the pitch.”
Stevens told Oldham’s official website: “I’m delighted to be here. This is a club I’ve always admired, and joining now presents a fantastic opportunity for me.
“I believe this is the perfect next step in my career, moving up into the Football League at the right time.
“There’s real potential here, and I want to be part of driving the club forward.
“The people I’ve spoke to have one common goal and that’s to drive this club forward, which alligns with my ambitions.”
Oldham boss Micky Mellon added: “Jack’s a fantastic addition to the group.
