REDDITCH United stayed within touching distance of the top after winning at Barwell.
Robbie Bunn’s sixth-minute goal proved to be enough for Mike Fowler’s side.
Redditch are fourth in the Southern League Premier Central division, but just three points off leaders Spalding in a frantic battle for top spot.
Fowler told the club’s official YouTube channel: “I’m delighted with the result, it’s four wins on the bounce now and keeps us in the play-off places.
“Do I want to talk about the performance? In the first half we were relatively comfortable.
“But uncharacteristically, we lacked a bit of quality. But in the second half, Barwell deserved something out of the game.
“I’m certainly not smug though, people say we’re flying, but there’s a lot of work to be done.”
But Fowler said the result was down to another impressive showing from on loan Birmingham City goalkeeper Tyrese Warmington.
Fowler added: “We have a sensational goalkeeper in Ty. Their manager was telling their players to follow up on free kicks, because they knew he’d save it.”
Two goals in three second half minutes from Todd Parker and a Jason Cowley penalty gave Halesowen victory over Needham Market.
Yeltz manager Russ Penn told the club’s X account: “I was really pleased, we made them the best team we’ve played here this season – we were off it, they were on it.
“We were fortunate to be 0-0 at half-time, I said to the lads that that was like a victory, and how many times have we been in that position?
“A couple of tweeks did us a world of good, we put an extra man in midfield and we had a lot more energy.”
A late winner from Luke Benbow earned Bromsgrove Sporting a victory that moved them another step away from the relegation zone.
James Sanderson put Roulslers ahead against seven-games unbeaten Leiston with a 15th-minute penalty, but Eddie Jackson levelled it up three minutes after the break.
Benbow netted with five minutes left in front of 510 at The Victoria Ground.
Bromsgrove manager Scott Aidy-Linforth told the club’s official YouTube channel: “We knew we had this in our locker, but we hadn’t been at it over the past few games.
“This was a great win, but we have to find a level of consistency again.
“I’ve known Luke for years, he’s a top player and he’s been working really hard after a frustrating time through injury.”
Stratford Town went down to a frustrating 3-2 defeat at home to Real Bedford.
Elliot Simmons and Conor Tee put Bedford 2-0 up at half-time – but Dan Lafferty pulled one back for the Bards just after the break only for Josh Allen to net Bedford’s third.
Stratford added a second with a debut goal from Max Lott, who is on loan from Aston Villa.
Stourbridge are in the relegation zone after losing at home to Stamford – who moved off the bottom of the table with their first win of the season.
The Lincolnshire side claimed a 3-1 victory with goals from Joao Varela, Fletcher Toll and Kai Sanchez-Tonge before Hayden Reeves scored a consolation goal in stoppage time.
Leaders Spalding won 2-0 at Alvechurch with second half goals from Jordan Nicholson and Abduramane Sani.
Worcester City went to AFC Sudbury – now bottom of the table – and won 6-0.
City had six different goalscorers in Nathan Hayward, Musa Ceesay, Felix Miles, Nathan Hayward, Kyle Belmonte and Liam Lockett – with five of them coming in the second half.
