HEDNESFORD Town say they have identified an individual involved in an incident after Saturday’s match with Widnes – and could issue a stadium ban.
The club have not gone into detail about what happened, in a statement issued on Sunday afternoon.
But they say, as a result of the incident, they will be reviewing their procedures to make sure supporters of both sides feel ‘safe and respected’.
The statement reads: “Hednesford Town FC is aware of an incident involving a supporter following our home fixture against Widnes FC.
“We want to be clear — this behaviour does not reflect the values of our club, our supporters, or the welcoming environment we strive to create at Keys Park.

“We have identified the individual involved and are taking appropriate action, which may include a stadium ban. We are also reviewing our matchday procedures to ensure all supporters – home and away – feel safe and respected at our ground.
“Hednesford Town FC has a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, and any individual found to be acting in a manner that disrupts the safety and enjoyment of others will face appropriate consequences.
“We would like to thank the Widnes FC fans for their understanding and the way they have engaged with us regarding this matter.
“HTFC remains committed to upholding the highest standards of respect and sportsmanship.”
