HEDNESFORD Town backroom staff member Adam Paget has been praised for his quick thinking when a young player suffered chest pains during a game and needed an ambulance.
Telford Town FC’s X account today (Friday) posted that Adam treated the goalkeeper before an ambulance arrived.
The post reads: “Massive thanks to Adam from Hednesford Town last night.
“During an academy trial game, a young goalkeeper experienced pains in his chest.
“Adam happened to be on the opposite pitch, rushed over and was superb until the ambulance arrived.
“Thank you Adam, everyone at the club and the lad’s family appreciate your care and attention to what was quite a distressing situation.”
In reponse, Hednesford posted on social media and said: “Incidents like this bring all teams together and we are glad Adam was on hand to provide assistance and help.
