TEENAGE Wolves wing-back Ethan Sutherland has joined Solihull Moors on loan.
The 18-year-old has linked up with the National League side for the rest of the season.
The Scotland youth international has already packed plenty of first-team action into his fledgling career.
He has played for his country at Under-19 level and has played for Alloa Athletic and latterly St Mirren from where he was recruited by the Premier League side.
“Ethan is a young player at Wolves who we really like, he’s exciting, he will get up and down,” said head coach Matt Taylor, “but he is at the beginning of his journey.
The Moors welcome the youngster ahead of their game against Oldham Athletic.
The Moors’ head coach said: “It’s been a positive week of training but it doesn’t matter about that, it’s about putting a performance together to earn three points.
“It will be good to see our supporters again. The players are relishing that opportunity.
“Oldham, being the club they are, will bring their own fans. They have an experienced manager who understands the league.
“They have exception players at the top of the pitch. But then, we have exceptional players.
“First and foremost, I hope we earn the right to play.
“We’ve spoken a lot about mindset.
“I’m excited to see how we handle the expectation of our supporters.
“It’s important for us. It’s against our direct rival. They’ll come here buoyed by a result at Rochdale.
“We are going to have to perform. If we do that, we can beat anyone in this league.”
