KANYA Fujimoto has set his sights on the Premier League after joining Birmingham City.
Fujimoto, 26, has signed a three-year contract with Blues after leaving Portuguese side Gil Vicente.
And the Japanese players is Birmingham’s seventh summer signing, joining Phil Neumann, James Beadle, Demarai Gray, Tommy Doyle, Bright Osayi-Samuel and countryman Kyogo Furuhashi.
Fujimoto told Blues’ official website: “I’m 26 years old now, so my dream is to play in the Premier League.
“This team has really good ambition and project, so that’s why I wanted to come here.

“Chris Davies and Craig Gardner said they want to achieve a lot of things – and big things.
“This team is interesting to me from last season. I’m also interested in the team, and the atmosphere of the stadium, with the fans, is really good. I’m looking forward to seeing that.”
Fujimoto is keen to match those players from Japan who have been in the UK in previous seasons.
He added: “There are many Japanese players that have come here to play.
“I think that they have played well, but I think I can do the same thing or better, so that’s why I wanted to come here.
“I’m a playmaker, who creates chances and connects from back to front.
“And I can help the team defend, so that’s what I want to do. I want to help the team, and I want to be better.”
