LEAMINGTON manager Paul Holleran has told his side to ‘step up and stop making mistakes’.

Tim Berridge put Leamington ahead after 35 minutes – but a Remaye Campbell penalty levelled the scores.
And the Bulls sealed with 15 minutes left with an own goal from Archie Crowther.
Holleran told the Brakes’ official website: “In my early interviews this season, I said, we’ve a lot of work to do this year.
“I think we’ve had to probably go deeper into non-league, and a lot of those have not a lot of National League experience.
“You could see that a little bit on Saturday. You can see their experience managing the game, managing the conditions, managing the visuals.
“But the bottom line is, both of their goals, we can do better on them. So that’s really disappointing.
“We’ve always had the same kind of model – where we are our players have to be really at it every week, and we’ve got to be making good decisions. We’ve got to be seven out of 10 every week.
“And when those standards drop, which they have recently, and we’ve been sloppy, you lose games because teams will like Fylde, Spennymoor and Hereford have got the players that’ll punish you and that’s what happened.
“We’ve had a real tough week, so that’s the league. We’ve been here before and you’re hoping that we can improve.
“At the moment we’ve dropped off a bit from where we were and that’s something we’re trying to sort out.
“How we do that is different ways. What you’re hoping is that we just step up a little bit, stop making mistakes because we’re making them, manage the game a bit better. That’s where we are at the moment.”
