DARLASTON Town kept up their play-off push with a victory at Sutton Coldfield Town on Saturday.
Lewis Gill struck after 28 minutes – and that was the only goal of the game.
It means Darlaston are now just four points off a top five spot – and have games in hand over their rivals.
Sporting Khalsa suffered another defeat as they went down at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Jamal Adams opened the scoring after eight minutes for the Northamptonshire side at the Guardian Warehousing Stadium.
Calvin Green increased Diamonds’ lead in the 62nd minute before Kieron Whittaker grabbed a late consolation for Khalsa deep into stoppage time.
But there was a shock defeat for Worcester City at Shepshed Dynamo.
The Leicestershire side won with the only goal of the game from Jesse Friend, four minutes into the second half.
Racing Club Warwick put a dent in Wellingborough Town’s play-off hopes.
They won 2-0 at Townsend Meadow with goals from Andre Williams, after 34 minutes, and
Kyle Barnett, in the 63rd minute.

Rugby Town beat Hinckley LRFC 2-1. Jahvan Davidson-Miller and Dan Summerfield put Rugby ahead before the half hour mark.
