BIRMINGHAM host Leicester on Monday night (April 28, 7.30pm) as they continue their search for their first ROWE Motor Oil Premiership points of the season.
It will be the second time the teams have met at Perry Barr this year with the Lions winning 57-33 on opening night in the Knockout Cup last month.
Last time out on home shale, the Brummies were narrowly beaten by leaders Ipswich whilst Leicester collected their first away win of the league campaign at Oxford last Monday.
And while he is expecting another tough test, Birmingham team manager Chris Adams is hoping his riders can make life easier for themselves by making some quick starts.
“Last time Leicester came to us, we were just second best away from the tapes pretty much all night really,” he said.
“So hopefully we can get ourselves into some better positions from the off and that could make a big difference to the final score.
“As I said previously, for me, with the riders they’ve got, Leicester are the hardest team to face around Birmingham because their riders have done a lot of laps around there and they like our track.
“But as always, we have to dig deep, the boys have to battle for every point and hopefully it will be a good meeting.”

Frustrations over Matej Zagar’s visa continue for the club – recent Sheffield signing Lewi Kerr has been booked to guest in his place.
There will also be second half Midland Development League action as the Ductair Bulls take on Wolves.
The first 40 children through the gates on Monday at Perry Barr will each receive a free Easter egg.
