SCOTT Adey-Linforth has been appointed as Stourbridge manager – less than a week after leaving Bromsgrove Sporting.

Adey-Linforth quit as Rouslers boss after learning that Tim Flowers was taking over as manager.

But he has been out of a job for just a matter of days after being offered the chance to guide the Glassboys out of the Southern League Premier Central relegation zone.

The appointment was announced on Stourbridge’s website this afternoon (Monday).

Adey-Linforth will take charge with Darryl Knights moving to the assistant manager’s role.

Stourbridge are seven points from safety after Saturday’s 3-2 win at relegation rivals Royston Town.

Dom Lewis scored twice and Aaron Bishop also netted as Stourbridge scored all of their goals in the second half at the North Hertfordshire venue.

Adey-Linforth has already had a number of roles at Stourbridge over an 11-year spell between 2013 and 2024.

After leaving the club in early 2024, he linked up with Paul Smith at Bromsgrove Sporting, originally as first team coach and was appointed manager in November following a successful interim period.

With Knights by his side as assistant manager, he guided Rouslers from relegation favourites to their highest ever league position by the end of the season.

Stourbridge add that Knights will remain as head of youth development, whilst taking up the role of assistant manager, with Drew Canavan and Billy Walwyn remaining key parts of the coaching staff.
