TAMWORTH let a one-goal lead slip as Yeovil staged a second half fightback at The Huish on Tuesday.
Walsall loanee Ronan Maher gave the Lambs hope of another step towards consolidating their position in the National League when he scored after 28 minutes.
Maher got on the end of Jordan Ponticelli’s ball and found the net.
But Tamworth could not hold on to the lead in front of a 2,649 crowd in Somerset.
Yeovil scored twice in the second half to keep alive their faint National League play-off hopes.
The Glovers levelled five minutes into the second half when Charlie Cooper’s long-range strike deflected in past goalkeeper Jas Singh.
A point would have taken Andy Peaks’ side to the 40-point mark for the season.
But 10 minutes after their opening goal, Yeovil hit the winner when ex-West Ham forward Frank Nouble blasted in to move his side up to 13th, nine points off the play-off places.
