TAMWORTH forward Nathan Tshikuna has joined Vanarama National League side Eastleigh FC on a permanent basis.
Tshikuna, 26, scored eight goals for The Lambs this season as Tamworth have impressed in their first season back in fifth tier of the domestic game.
Lambs boss Andy Peaks said: “It’s disappointing to lose Nathan, but he goes with my best wishes.
“Eastleigh put in an offer for him and it’s a great opportunity for him to move into full-time football.
“Nathan’s given great service for me at Rushden and now Tamworth, and I really hope this move works out for him. The door is always open for him if things don’t work out.”
Tshikuna also said his farewells to the club on social media.
He posted: Wow what a rollercoaster journey it’s been. Just want to thank all the Tamworth fans for the support you’ve shown me in the last two years.
“I’m incredibly grateful for my time at the club and I’d like to wish everyone involved nothing but success going forward.”
