BOURNVILLE captain Ben Meakin has signed up for another season at Avery Fields.
Meakin has just completed his second season with Bournville having arrived from Stourbridge in the summer of 2023.
He made his 50th appearance for Bourns in the win at Devonport Services last month and has missed just two league matches in his time at Avery Fields.
“Ben is a hard-working and durable athlete who leads through his actions,” said Bournville Head Coach Alex Grove.
“He’s played more for the club than anyone else over the last two years so I’m delighted that he is staying at Bournville next season.”
Meakin played for Midlands Under-18s in 2020 alongside Louis Mifsud while they were both students at Old Swinford Hospital School.
