TAMWORTH boss Andy Peaks admitted ‘Every week’s a big week’ after the Lambs continued their impressive run of results.
Saturday’s late win at Aldershot kept Peaks’ side in touch with the National League play-off contenders.
And with a National League Cup clash with Burnley on Tuesday, a Saturday evening fixture at home to Boston United and the FA Cup first round tie with Leyton Orient, Tamworth’s season is already a busy one.
The Lambs made it seven league games unbeaten with victory at Aldershot.
Beck-Ray Enoru netted a stoppage-time winner to complete a dramatic victory.
Aldershot took the lead 10 minutes before half-time when Kwame Thomas converted Josh Barrett cross.
But Tamworth levelled four minutes into first-half added time from a Haydn Hollis free-kick – after goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst was penalised for picking up a back pass.
Joint caretaker manager Alan Dowson was shown a red card following the goal and his mood would not have been helped by Enoru’s winner seven minutes into added time as Tamworth extended their unbeaten league run to seven.
Peaks has built on last season’s achievements and welcomes a string of big games for Tamworth.
He told the club’s official YouTube channel: “They’re all big weeks at the moment, we go into Tuesday night’s against Burnley and we want to do well in that competition.
“We’ve won one game already. And then it sets up for next Saturday at home to Boston.
“We’re on a really good run. It was important we picked something up at Aldershot and we have to keep the momentum going.
“When you’re doing well, every week’s a big week, and this week’s no different.”
Peaks was thrilled by Tamworth’s last-gasp winner and added: “It’s a great time to win a game, scoring in the last minute doesn’t get much better.
“It was a good performance – from the first minute right through to theend. And over the 90-odd minutes, I thought we deserved to win. And at the end, I thought ‘can we nick it?’.”
