TAMWORTH will welcome back two mainstays of last season for another campaign at The Lamb.
Goalkeeper Jas Singh – and long-throw sensation Tom Tonks – have agreed new deals for Tamworth’s second successive National League season.
And the Lambs announced on Tuesday that Haydn Hollis had also signed a contract for next season.
Singh made 53 starts last season and was voted Players’ Player of the Season, highlighting the respect he has in the dressing room.
Lambs boss Andy Peaks told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted that Jas has committed for another season.
“I think everyone knows just how important he is to us — he has been absolutely top drawer since myself and Neil Champelovier came into the club.
“He’s a massive asset on the pitch and a vital member of the spirit created in the changing room.”
The club have also announced that Tonks has been retained for the upcoming 2025-26 season after signing a new one-year deal.
Singh said: “It wasn’t hard at all — once me and the gaffer spoke, it was simple. I’m happy, and in football, being happy is the most important thing.
“Hopefully we can build on what we’ve started in this league again. I think it will be even tougher as every team will strengthen, being in a full-time model.
“As a part-time team, we need the dressing room and fans to be together as one again.
“The fans have always welcomed me back every year I’ve returned. I hope I can keep serving the club with a decent level of performance that helps the team get points — and that’s the main thing.”
