CITY of Birmingham Rockets have secured their spot in the British Championship Basketball (BCB) Play-Off semi-final.
That came after a commanding 74-62 victory over the London Cavaliers last weekend.
And now they face a high-stakes, one-legged clash this Saturday against the Newcastle Knights Tyneside.
With no second chances, the winner of this weekend’s showdown will punch their ticket directly to the BCB Playoff Final.
Playing in front of a packed home crowd, the Rockets demonstrated the same grit and tactical brilliance that saw them finish third in the regular season.
It keeps the momentum firmly behind the team as they chase a historic ‘double,’ following their prestigious BCB Trophy triumph last month.
