That leads the team into this weekend’s double header against London and Reading, when they team will aim to boost that sequence to nine games. WE’RE going to be spreading the love this weekend – and hopefully securing two more victories as well.
Last week’s win at Yorkshire Dragons was our seventh in a row, and a sign of how well this squad is gelling at the moment.
We’ll be taking that form into Saturday’s home game with London Cavaliers where we hope a big Valentine’s Day crowd will back us once more.

It’s also a double header for us as we then go to Reading Rockets for a re-arranged match and one of our games in hand.
So we know how important the next 48 hours will be.
As for our current run, I think I’ve only experienced a sequence like it before at Derby, where we won something like eight or nine games in a row.
But this is the best form I’ve seen us in at this level.
And it’s quite exciting to be part of this winning streak. The team chemistry is really good and we all get on, on and off the court.
We all like playing alongside each other and we all like what we’re doing.
Everyone’s singing from the same hymn sheet in terms of implementing our will on games.

The coach, Charles Smith, doesn’t have to say that much new to us these days – as we just keep on doing what we’re doing. The expectation is there, but we just have to keep it on track.
There are moments in games when we might deviate, but we have to understand that we must stay disciplined and stay on track.
The only danger creeping in is complacency, but there’s no sign of that.
We dug deep against the Dragons and next up it’s London Cavaliers who I think we embarrassed on their home court earlier this season.

So, they’ll be coming out and looking for blood. They’re on a run of games themselves and playing really well.
Then it’s Reading, who we know a lot about. They’re doing some really good numbers this year, so that’ll be a great test for us to play against one of the toughest teams in this league.
